C/N in Classic Rock January Issue

CPR take NYC by storm! Coming soon...

Friday Feb. 13th, 2004

I went to see the NYC Premier of GREENDALE @ the Walter Reade Theatre in NYC;
(which is located at Lincoln Center.)
Neil, Elliot and Pegi attended.
Neil introed the film and afterwards hosted a brief Q&A with the audience regarding the film.
It was an intimate showing with under 300 people in attendance.
Caught up w/ Dave Zimmer there and congratulated him on his latest book release - 4 Way Street.

Zimmer wore his CSNY Leather bomber jacket and when Neil walked onstage before the show began,
I saw that Neil was wearing the same coat...birds of a feather eh.....

Great flic in a great theatre - PLAY IT LOUD!

GREENDALE the film is an excellant outlet for this classic body of work.

Da Capo Q&A with the Author:
Q: What is it that initially attracted you to the group and has held your interest over the years?

A: Back in 1972, when I was a freshman in college at the University of California at Davis and just beginning to get a sense of myself as an independant person, the music of Stephen Stills was like a lightening rod that jolted me awake. He imbued his songs with such stark emotions and feelings that it made me feel less alone during a period when I needed some comfort and direction. .....

Says it all for me! - Lorraine

Ahmet Ertegun:

"4 Way Street is a marvelous series of articles that give great insight into the lives of a most important American group."
